With all the talk about open space preservation on Long Island, it’s com- forting to see the czar of WLNY-TV 55 and Telecare take a perfectly good summer camp and turn it into yet another golf course just a few miles from both Shinnecock Hills and the National Golf Links in Southampton. Named the Sebonack Golf Club, it was designed by Pascucci’s North Palm Beach, Fla., neighbor and recently retired golf pro Jack Nicklaus. Pascucci will also be constructing an elaborate bowling alley on the Shinnecock Reservation with for- mer bowling champ Pete Weber (just kidding).
