22. Tracey Edwards
2015 Power List
Anyone who can oversee Verizon Communications as regional president for Long Island, sit on a town council, and still have time to serve as regional director of the NAACP demands our undivided attention. Tracey Edwards has been key to the growth of fiber optics on the Island throughout the past decade and instrumental to the company’s expansion here. A lifelong Huntington Town resident, Edwards is a respected advocate for the entire community and as a member of the Town Council strives to create policy in the public’s best interest. If that’s not enough, the Dix Hills resident is also a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
