Since KeySpan keeps our homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer, it seems ungrateful to be too critical. We would point out, however, that KeySpan made few big moves this year to improve LI’s power situation, other than promising to stick around through 2005 while LIPA gets its act together. But Catell, after 47 years at KeySpan, could wield huge influence as incoming chair of the United States Energy Association.
