31. Brooke Ellison

Already a compelling speaker and Harvard grad, Ellison has taken her career to the next level. She’s currently on the campaign trail, eager for a seat in the State Senate. Paralyzed from the neck down after being hit by a car in 1990, the Setauket resident is an advocate for stem cell research, as well as housing opportunities, educational funding and feasible transportation solutions.
