A modest PR man, Zimmerman is a prominent Great Neck businessman and Democratic fundraiser who happens to be buddies with John Kerry. Gotham magazine listed him as one of the 100 most eligible bachelors while Hamptons magazine put him on its list of 200 power-shakers. He also serves on the Democratic National Committee, and can often be seen on TV commenting on political issues.
