The Nassau conservative and staunch Catholic (who because of his religious affiliation refuses to seek the death penalty or prosecute anti-abortionists) seems to be one of Nassau’s last Republicans standing under the Democratic sweep this year. He has been district attorney so long that he’s been boss to dozens of current LI pols and judges.
