Dr. DNA has been the guiding light of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory since being made director in 1968. He revitalized the financially troubled lab, in part by his mere presence, but also by adding a focus on the genetics of cancer. Watson continues to have a powerful influence in biology circles, and the Lab not only brings in research funds but its discoveries have launched numerous businesses. LOVE HIM for figuring out DNA.
