49. Victor Singh

Apart from being a well-respected member of the ever-growing Sikh community on Long Island, Singh is a dedicated community activist and businessman. Capitalizing on the cell-phone boom, Singh now owns 55 Zoom Wireless stores nationally with 34 just on Long Island. A far cry from his humble beginnings in Indore, India, Singh moved to New York in 1987 and now enjoys great success on Long Island and continues to give back to various Indian organizations. Two years ago, Singh co-founded Spectrum magazine with two-year Power Lister Evelyn Ain.
