7. Bruce Stillman

The only person on the power list from Down Under, Stillman has led one of the nation’s top research facilities since 2003, when he took over for departing former CSHL president Dr. James Watson, the man who cracked the DNA code. Since that time Stillman has become an applauded leader in his field. His work concentrates on further DNA research, which also makes him the only man on this list who might be able to clone himself in the future, making sure that nobody but he occupies the top 10 spots.
