One of the youngest lawyers to be named a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, one of Long Island’s premier law firms, Adam P. Silvers became the firm’s managing partner in January 2015. He had previously shared the role with Mark Mulholland. Silvers is also a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Department and Intellectual Property Group. During the course of his career, Silvers has handled a wide range of complex transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, venture capital financings, joint venture and partnership agreements, as well as software licensing and development agreements. Silvers speaks often before peer audiences on such topics as corporate governance, executive compensation, securities matters as well as intellectual property and software licensing issues. He is the founder of the CFO Roundtable, a by-invitation-only monthly gathering of CFOs from Long Island’s leading private companies, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Silvers joined Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in 1998 and was named a partner in 2003. Prior to joining the firm he served as in-house counsel for a high-tech corporation. He supports such charitable organizations as Child Abuse Prevention Services, a Roslyn-based nonprofit, as well as the American Heart Association. He also serves on the Supervisory Committee of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, one of the largest federally chartered credit unions in the United States. He lives in Commack.
